Saturday night was spent at fort canning park on the grass below a nice night sky watching "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Shakespeare in the park as they call it. Pretty innovative idea i must say. Had a ball of a time there. Hard not to when you're in pretty awesome company, with your conversation topics ranging from 'tree trunks' to sweet smelling smells. Add to that some interesting, or rather, amusing sights and its a night filled with bags of laughter and joy. And yes, dried cranberries are really good, and im still not a cheese person.
Shakespeare aside, the holidays are here. School's been winding down to a nice close since the start of the SISC week though make-up lessons are aplenty in the first week. But hey, its still the holidays after all!
Hockey now feels rather much different that what it used to be like. Its really a whole world of difference if you're planning/overseeing training or if you're just training. Been reviving a lot of old drills learnt during my SJI days and modifying some of the more recent drills. It aint easy to crack your brains to think of innovative drills, but its nice to see the guys responding well and making improvements. There's still a lot of work to be done in the many different arenas of The Hockey Team as we move on, and i must say, im pretty excited at what is to come.
