Feeling a little bored this couple of days, actually looking forward to hockey training next week. It's been a long time since I trained. Hope my hits won't become screwy after a period of inactivity. Well, I gotta start one day. Looking forward to next year's season. It'll be nice to win something, but much will depend on the groupings though.

Been playing quite a bit of FM2006 this couple of days. The comp's so laggy that its frustrating… Hopefully I'll be able to head down to sim lim square tmr to get some ram. Its made worse by the fact that my comp cant use the newer and cheaper SDRAM and RDRAM is extremely expensive. Just hope that fm will be less laggy after the ram's installed.

Read elaine's blog bout eternity, its always something that got me thinking. I guess the whole concept will always baffle humans. Maybe it's just not within our human framework to conceptualize such an idea. The absence of time is certainly one of these issues. What will life be like without time? Caught the preview of Aeon Flux last wed and one line struck me, “what kind of life is that of a life without hope?”. The context of the movie was in one of those dystopian societies, think George Orwell's 1984. Hope inspires us. The prospect of a better tomorrow drives people. The belief that we have the ability to make the little imperfection of our world a bit better motivates people. Can hope still stem from perfection? There's nothing to change, all is good, and all is perfect. What is there to strive for? It's a nice process working from imperfection to perfection, but what is there left to do once that's been achieved or obtained? We may never understand this concept as humans, but faith will carry us through.

Nickelback's a fantastic band. Been listening to a couple of songs from them of late. Someday, how you remind me and photograph rank along my favorites. And yes, you're missing out on a lot if you've not heard them. The style's mainly post-grunge (eg. Creed, Switchfoot, 3 Doors Down), very radio friendly and easy listening. You gotta hear it to know how good it is.
