Wednesday, June 27, 2007;

Jetted into Boston on Saturday after horrendous flying. First a flight to Tokyo that took bout 7 hrs then connecting to another one to Chicago that took 14 and then another 2.5 hrs to Boston. Not to mention that the flight from Chicago took off and relanded after 20mins cos of some technical fault. Well, that's a first. Haha. Not to mention we flew United Airlines all the way.

Oh wells, we're all here safe and sound in one piece. Simmons is interesting but bout 10 mins walk from the main student centre. The walk there makes for great conversation opportunities though. Having some classes and guest lectures stuff this week. Pretty hectic schedule but its pretty fun so far and im learning a lot.

5 observations so far:
1) Lifts are great places for making conversation, happens bout 90% of the time. Its nice.
2) Its hard to find hot (not spicy) food.
3) Ultimate frisbee is THE game here
4) Stuff is just plain expensive
5) Linux OS is just complicated

Thats it for now. Oh yea, for those of you who accidentely texed me while i was away, fret not, it just counts as a normal sms cos im on roaming.

At the airport now and gonna be boarding a plane in bout an hour. Its one long flight.

Pretty excited at the moment but there's the usual pre-trip blues. Haha. Its gonna be a pretty long trip. Gee, 6 wks is kinda long man.

Anyways, i shall be off. Will update this blog from time to time when i'm there.
