Friday, January 13, 2006;
This week has felt awful long. Although the public holiday on tuesday was only 3 days ago, it feels like its light years ago. Been having really long days on Mon, Wed, Thur, coming home at 8+ on those days.
I think i've rediscovered my passion for hockey after a dismal season last yr. Getting back some old secondary sch form and most importantly getting some of the sji hockey culture back. Since I stepped foot in NJ, ive never played so much hockey in a week, even playing on thursday mornings. Simply brilliant. Wed was the classic case. Had lessons from roughly 800-1340 and then hockey all the way till 1840. And it wasnt even a training day. Learnt a lot from han kit tt day. That is
the ideal day. Friday was even better (not counting the incessant rain), banged in 2 goals from penalty corner top D range. Sweet. Hopefully this
form stays and I'll have a chance to bang some penalty corners in when season starts and hope the 2006 season will end off as brilliantly as it started.
There's a quote from the movie friday night lights (a movie about a high school football team) about schools after the team suffered a defeat.
"Radio Listener: There's too much learning going on at that school. "
Looking forward to another year of 'A' Div Hockey! :)
